There are four levels of test on the Quizzes main page: Beginner, for those of you with beginning to study the war; Level 1, a real challange for the Civil War Buff; level 2, or "advanced" Level, for Civil War experts or those who like to dig for answers; and level 3 for those of you who really like pain.
Feel free to use any Level. The Levels are only to give you some idea of what to expect.
