  Pvt. Solomon Toliver b. in 1842 Enlisted on May 3, 1862 at Alleghany Co, NC into Co. I, 61st NC Infantry. On Nov 15, 1862 Absent without leave. On Feb 28, 1863 Returned. On April 18, 1863 Hospitalized at Columbia, SC. On Aug 29, 1863 Absent without leave. On Oct 16, 1863 Returned and Under arrest. On Nov 15, 1863 Returned. On April 30, 1864 On rolls. On June 16, 1864 On rolls. On June 19, 1864 Confined at Point Lookout, MD. On July 25, 1864 Transferred at Elmira, NY. On Sept 11, 1864 Died of chronic diarrhoea as POW on at Elmira, NY. Residence Alleghany County NC. He was 21 year-old when he Enlisted.

  Pvt. Allen Toliver b. in 1832 Enlisted on Aug 5, 1862 in Alleghany Co, NC into Co. I, 61st NC Infantry at the age of 32 years old. On Sept 15, 1862 He was discharged.

  Pvt. Lewis W. Taliaferro* Co. D, 7th TN Cavary (Duckworth's).

  Major. Warner Throckmorton Taliaferro* b. in 1833 Co. B, 40th Va Infantry. On July 1, 1861 Promoted to Major. On Jan 12, 1881 he died in Norfolk, Va.

  2nd Lieut. Charles Simon Taliaferro* b. Abt. 1840 Enlisted into Co. L, 7th TN Cavalry (Duckworth's).

  Pvt. Richard Henry Taliaferro* b. on August 15, 1827 Enlisted into Co. D, 12th MS Infantry. On Nov 20, 1908 He died.

  Pvt. Charles Adams Taliaferro* b. on September 18, 1844 Enlisted into Co. D, 12th MS Infantry which became part of the 12th VA Infantry. He was Courier.

  Pvt. Charles Frances Taliaferro b. in 1837 Enlisted on April 20, 1861 as a Private into Co. A, 2nd GA Battn Infantry. He was discharged for disability.

  Captain. Richard McCulloch Taliaferro* b. in 1831 Enlisted on April 29, 1861 at Buffalo Springs, Va into Co. I, 19th Va Infantry at the age of 30 years old. On July 8, 1861 He resigned. On May 13, 1862 he mustered into Co. E, 2nd Va Cavalry. On June 20, 1862 Hospitalized with haemorrhoides. On Nov 15, 1862 Detailed with hospital duty. On Jan 2, 1864 He was transferred out and into Veteran Reserve Corps. On June 30, 1864 Hospitalized in Lynchburg, Va. On Feb 18, 1865 Detailed with hospital duty. On May 25, 1865 Oath Allegiance in Amherst CH, Va. On Feb 26, 1887 he died. Graduate Washington College in 1852 before the Civil War.

  Pvt. Peachy R Taliaferro b. Abt. 1840 in MS. Enlisted on Sept 13, 1861 at Camp Bee, Va into Co. C, 1st Va Cavalry. On Nov 15, 1862 Detailed with no horse as a Provost Guard in Orange County, Va. On March 15, 1863 Detached with Mosby. On Apr 27, 1863 POW at Loudoun County, Va. On May 1, 1863 Confined at Old Capitol Prison, Washington, DC. On May 10, 1863 Exchanged. On May 29, 1864 He was killed at Hawes' Shop, Va.

  Corpl. Charles Champe Taliaferro Jr* b. on January 26, 1842 Enlisted on July 1, 1861 as a Private into 1st" Co. VA R. Howitzers Light Artillery. On Aug 18, 1861 He was transferred out and into Co. H, 4th Va Cavalry. On Sept 15, 1861 Detailed w/Gnl Walker. On Oct 1, 1861 Returned. On Oct 4, 1861 Detailed on picket in Accotink Run, Va. On Nov 15, 1861 Detailed w/Gnl Taylor. On Dec 15, 1861 Returned. On Nov 1, 1862 He was transferred out and into Co. F, 6th Va Cavalry and promoted to Corpl. On Aug 31, 1863 Absent, leave. On July 15, 1864 promoted to Sergt as of Co. F, 6th Va Cav. On May 17, 1865 Oath Allegiance at Winchester, Va.

  4th Sergt. Joseph M. Thomas b. on Dec 24, 1838. Enlisted on April 17, 1861 as a Corporal into Montgomery Fencibles Co. G, 4th Va Infantry. On April 22, 1862 Priv "Reduced to ranks". On May 12, 1864 POW at Spotsylvania Court House, Va. On May 15, 1864 Confined at Elmira, NY. On March 10, 1865 Exchanged.

  Pvt. Asbury Coke Wingfield* b. on Jul 16, 1833 in Albemarle Co, VA. Enlisted on Jul 9, 1861 at Charlottesville, VA into Co. A, 19th Va Infantry. On Mar 3, 1862 hospitalized with Otitis and deafness in Charlottesville, VA. On May 22, 1862 Returned. On Jun 1, 1862 Wounded at Seven Pines, VA. On May 15, 1863 detailed on conscript duty. On Jul 21, 1863 hospitalized Gunshot to right hand. On Aug 14, 1863 He was discharged for disability. He was described as: 5' 11", light complexion, blue eyes, dark hair. On Feb 24, 1926 he died in Albemarle Co, VA. Buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, North Garden Albemarle Co, VA.

  Pvt. Thomas Jefferson Wingfield* b. on Apr 14, 1832 in Albermarle Co, VA. Enlisted on May 2, 1862 at Spotsylvania Co, VA into Co. I, 5th VA Cavalry. He fought in the Battles of Bull Run, Trevellians (Louisa Courthouse, Va), Fredericksburg and Clayton Store Road among others. On May 19, 1865 he was paroled in Charlottesville, VA.
