Enlisted on April 5, 1862 at Lenoir County, NC into Co. E, 37th NC Infantry at the age of 47 years old. On May 27, 1862 POW at Hanover Court House,VA. On May 28, 1862 Confined at Fort Columbus, NY and Paroled. On August 5, 1862 Exchanged at Aiken's Landing, VA. On August 30, 1862 He died of disease at Richmond, VA




Clement P. Goodwin

Enlisted on March 15, 1862 at Union County, NC into Co. E, 48th NC Infantry at the age of 30 years old. On Dec 13, 1862 Wounded at Fredericksburg, VA. On Dec 15, 1862 Hospitalized at Richmond, VA. On Jan 13, 1863 He died of his Wounds at Richmond, VA. born in Chesterfield District, SC.
