David Blaine Long b. on Jan 22, 1829 Enlisted on Feb 22, 1862 as a Private into Co. H, 61st OH Infantry at the age of 33 years old. On Apr 24, 1862 promoted to Corpl. On Jul 20, 1864 Wounded and lost his arm at the Battle of Peach Tree Creek, GA. On Jul 17 1865 He was discharged for his wounds. He also was at Gettyburg. On Jul. 2, 1902 he died in Warnock, Belmont Co, OH.
