There is a $10.00 fee. I have tried using an honor system for over two years and find that less than 30% of the people I help pay me the fee. Accordingly, effective with requests received after this is posted, I require that the fee be paid before I provide the results of my research. I regret this, but it takes my time and effort (including paid membership to several ancestry databases) to do the research and I do not feel that ten dollars is an excessive request. I will, however, start researching your relative when I receive this form and will not delay the research waiting for your payment.
