b. December 28, 1843 Enlisted on Apr 19, 1861 as a Private into
Co. H, 4th Pa Infantry. On July 27, 1861 he was mustered out
at Harrisburg, PA. On Aug 13, 1862 Re-enlisted as a Private
into Co. C, 125th Pa Infantry. On May 18, 1863 he was mustered
out at Harrisburg, PA.

Corpl. Samuel Sam Berry Wyland*
b. April 01, 1838 Enlisted on Aug 16, 1862 as a Private into
Co. H, 148th Pa Infantry. One of his fingers had been shot off at the Battle of
Chancellorville. On Dec 1, 1864 he was promoted to Corpl. On Jan 1, 1865
he was promoted to Sergt. On June 1, 1865 He was Mustered Out at Alexandria, Va.
On Feb 7, 1897 he died and is buried in Bellefonte, Pa.
Pvt. Lewis A. Wyland*
b. in 1841 Enlisted as a Private into Co. G, 51st Pa Infantry.
He appears on the Roll of Honor. On January 06, 1863 he died at
Poplar Grove, Church, Va. He is buried in the US Soldiers' and
Airmen's Home National Cemetery, Washington, DC.

he fought at the battle of Gettysburg, his name is listed on the
148th Pa Infantry Monument at Gettysburg, PA as Peter Wylan under
Company B. On Oct 12, 1863 sent to hospital in at Washington, DC.
On Jan 1, 1865 He was Mustered Out at Alexandria, VA "absent, sick
at muster out". AKA Peter Wylan.
