About the book

In this story, you will guess who the murderer is and as you continue to read, you will change your mind and you may change your mind several times before you finish the book. But, that’s one of the things that make it so enjoyable.
Anne Marie, pictured on the cover of the book is one of the major characters in this story, and she is described by the detective on the case as being a “contender for the rank of Goddess!” That should create quite a picture in your mind.
The two detectives working on this case are so comfortable with each other that they keep a little laughter in their days to make their jobs easier. Lisa is the brand-new detective, having just earned her badge and been assigned to Homicide. She is a light-hearted young woman with a slight rough edge to her personality, but she has compassion for others. David is the Senior Detective and Lisa was assigned to be his partner. Do you think a romance might develop between them? Do you think he will hate it when she is right? Just read and see!

The Detectives keep running into block walls. She is young, beautiful, & moving out of her family mansion to live in Paris, France. Did she kill her father? If she did, why? Where are all those millions and who gets them? Money by the truckloads, secrets at every corner! Disappearing people, opulence, death & sexual encounters!

Dance History

As a Jr. High student living in Atlantic City, NJ, I enjoyed being invited to dance by the high school guys because I could follow his leads and keep up with his moves. I was eventually invited to go with a group of high schoolers to dance on American Bandstand tv show in Philadelphia, PA. For any of you who have seen that show when it originated in California, it would have been unrecognizable in 1956. Boys wore jackets and ties and the girls wore dresses below the knees, no sheer material, no part of the chest was to be visible, no gawdy jewelry and no one was allowed to have chewing gum! It was an amazing experience in my life that feels like it was last week. Of course, I had the opportunity to dance on tv, but the most exciting thing was meeting the man himself, Dick Clark! Twenty-six years later, I was invited to appear on a national television show as a surprise guest for Dick Clark to celebrate his thirtieth year in show business. A video of that is on YouTube.
Over several years I became an instructor in county western, swing, disco, and ballroom dance. I ran my own studio and was invited to perform exhibitions in a variety of dance forms at many events.

In 1984 I organized my first dance competition in Knoxville, TN. It was held at the TN. Valley fairgrounds and was a big success! Such a good turnout sent me directly to the Hyatt Regency hotel to book their ballroom for the next two years on Labor Day weekend. Oh, my goodness! What a terrific event it became and on Sunday night after the competition awards program, everyone went to their rooms and changed into their p.j.’s and raced back to the ballroom to dance, play games and just have a ball! I continued with that event for 15 years until I sold it to a couple in Nashville due to health problems.
